A Stormy Styled Shoot on the Coast.

Hi, friends!

I hope you all survived winter storm Jonas! Has anyone else had “my name is Jonas” by Weezer stuck in their head all week? 🙂

Here in Maine, we’re used to getting hit pretty hard by most winter storms, but this time it stayed south of us! I was so glad, because last saturday I got to collaborate with Abby of Abby Chic Flowers on a moody styled bridal portrait shoot! Abby did the flowers for my wedding which were AMAZING. I knew whatever she came up with would be just as great, and I was right! The flower crown she created included succulents and the coolest little geode. *heart eyes*

My models were actually my beautiful sister in law, Stephanie, and her boyfriend, Jay. Whenever they get engaged, I envy the photographer they book to shoot their wedding! They were so great in front of the camera.

We trekked out to one of my favorite locations, the Marginal Way, for these photos. The rocky coastline in Maine just can’t be beat! We also got the benefit of having super moody looking storm clouds without having the actual storm, which gave us a perfect backdrop.
