Hey, everyone! It’s been a bit since I’ve gotten to blog a wedding here, but 2017 wedding season is officially started thanks to Sarah and Josh! It’s always special to be involved in the wedding of a couple that you know, and I was so honored to photograph Sarah and Josh’s wedding on April 22 at Point Lookout in Northport, ME. I met Sarah and Josh through my husband’s job at Spurling Fitness, which is actually where Sarah and Josh met as well!
Despite the cold, rainy Maine weather, their day was full of nothing but warm feelings and smiling faces. We had just a few minutes to sneak in their first look in the morning before the downpour started, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Would you guess by looking at those photos that it was only about 35 degrees? Thankfully, we got to warm up with hot coffee and BRUNCH afterwards – guys, there were mini eggs benedicts at cocktail hour. My dreams came true.
Sarah and Josh, thank you again for inviting Chris and I to be a part of your wedding day. I’m so glad that we call you both friends instead of clients, and I can’t wait to hang out with you both and hear all about your honey moon adventuring in the Azores (and next time if you want to bring a personal vacation photographer, you know where to find me).

Beautiful wedding photo’s, loved her dress, and all the many deserts vs a tall wedding cake, that’s my kind of table…Great job Sarah, you definitely do great work with a camera.
